After completing his articling in the Ottawa office, Chris joined Power Law as an associate in the fall of 2022.

Curious about the policy issues that affect people’s rights on a daily basis, Chris practices constitutional law in the areas of language law and human rights, particularly 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. He also practices administrative law and civil litigation.

Chris has over seven years of experience working at the House of Commons in Procedural Services. This experience has given him an intimate understanding of the workings of the parliamentary institutions that make Canadian democracy work. He brings a wealth of experience to his work in parliamentary affairs and government relations.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Canadian Law Program, he earned his degree in common law and civil law. Before completing his legal studies, he studied Public Ethics at Saint Paul University, where he learned to manipulate abstract concepts in order to apply them to concrete situations.

Chris practices law in English and French.

Chris puts his creativity to work in his spare time by imagining fantastic worlds and exciting adventures as Dungeon Master for his Dungeons and Dragons group.
