Having been involved in various social and environmental movements prior to commencing law school, Gabriel seeks to use the law to advance social and economic justice. Gabriel’s legal interests include aboriginal law, environmental law and constitutional law, with a keen interest in language rights.

Originally from Aylmer, Gabriel has lived in Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa. In 2015, Gabriel graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.A. in History and Political Science. He commenced his practice in Ottawa after first joining Juristes Power as a student in 2020.

Gabriel began his legal career as a law clerk to Justice Sébastien Grammond at the Federal Court. Prior to joining Juristes Power, Gabriel completed his law studies at McGill University, during which he had an internship with the Centre for Research-Action on Race Relations. He also completed a legal internship as part of his bachelor’s degree at the Superior Court of Quebec with the Honourable Justices David Collier and Chantal Corriveau.

Gabriel holds degrees in common law and civil law. He practices law in both English and French.
