Prior to joining Power Law, Giacomo practiced in a broad range of areas in civil litigation, including complex commercial disputes and class actions with a particular focus on consumer protection. He also advised cooperatives and non-profit organizations on their internal management and represented them before the courts.
Giacomo also represented clients in shareholder disputes, construction litigation, insurance claims, defamation proceedings and injunctions, and argued before the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec and several administrative tribunals.
Giacomo practices in French and English. He is also fluent in Italian.
Prima di unirsi a Power Law, ha esercitato la professione in diverse materie attinenti il diritto civile, compresi contenziosi societarie e azioni collettive, soprattutto in materia di tutela dei consumatori. Ha anche rappresentato e prestato consulenza a diverse cooperative ed enti privati senza fine di lucro per questioni legate alla gestione e ai contenziosi di ogni genere.
Ha altresì rappresentato clienti in ulteriori materie che includono contenziosi tra azionisti di società commerciali, nonché in materia edilizia, assicurativa e fattispecie connesse alla diffamazione, avanti alla corte d’appello, la corte superiore, la corte provinciale e vari tribunali amministrativi in Quebec.
